= Modelling, Methods, and Technology SIG = The focus of the MMT SIG is on the basics needed to establish and maintain correct and reliable reference data. For more, see the [http://www.posccaesar.com/en-GB/PortalObject/2622/POSCCaesar.aspx MMT SIG homepage]. == Ongoing activities == * Coming soon: We will be publishing details about ''templates'' developed in the IDS project. Templates are n-ary predicates, for which definitions are stated in terms of rules (currently implemented in SWRL). This provides for a convenient and precise interface to the ontology, and is intended to be used by the various SIG's in their work on creating and maintaining ontologies for their respective subdomains. In order to present of template definitions, support for entering diagrams of ISO 15926 models, using a simplified set of [http://www.tug.org/applications/Xy-pic/ xy-pic] commands, has been added to the Wiki. Here is an initial example: {{{ #!LatexEquation \TemplateDiagram{ !c{car}{Car}{CO Individual} [r] !r{rel}{CO Assembly} [r] !c{wheel}{Wheel}{CO Individual} !s{rel}{car}{CO Whole}{wheel}{CO Part} % !d{rel}{car}{0:1}{wheel}{3:*} "rel" [ur(.5)] !c{card}{3:*}{Cardinality} "rel" - "card"|{\roletype{End 2 Cardinality}} "card" [u(.5)] !c{3}{3}{ExpressReal} "card" - "3"|{\roletype{Minimum Cardinality}} } }}} == Template Development == A document describing the current list of templates defined in the [wiki:IntelligentDataSetsPrototype IDS] project, with roles and brief definitions in natural language, can be found [http://trac.posccaesar.org/raw-attachment/wiki/IntelligentDataSetsPrototype/sc_template_defs.html here]. The following is a list of pages that describe individual templates, with definitions, diagrams, and so forth. * [wiki:TemplateDescriptionCIPcSQQ] == Presentations == Presentations from [http://www.posccaesar.com/en-GB/PortalObject/2803/POSCCaesar.aspx Semantic Days 2008] are available in Powerpoint format.
