Statoil

Statoil is an international energy company with operations in 42 countries and more than 35 years of experience from oil and gas production on the Norwegian continental shelf. IBM Centre of Excellence Oil & Gas

DNV

DNV has for several years been in involved in development of different international standards for information integration and data exchange, as well as information quality, including semantic quality. The development of an Information Quality Framework is based on a concise set of requirements, unambiguous definitions of data quality and the principle that data quality is measurable. DNV focuses the work on information quality on three integrated subjects, a Quality Management System (ISO 9001), a framework for measuring data quality, and a toolbox for support. Methods for measure information quality have been developed and applied in various implementation projects.
