| 176 | 176 | Ian Glendinning is a professional engineer and manager with Batchelor's in Aeronautical Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration from Imperial College of London University. Ian has over 30 years experience in process plant pressure systems engineering, on offshore and onshore oil & gas, refining, chemicals & pharmaceuticals projects around the world. He has been involved in development and exploitation of ISO15926 since before its inception in the mid-1990's, responsible for some of the earliest and largest data warehouse & portal implementations of Foster-Wheeler, AVEVA and Intergraph, for Shell, BP and others. In recent years Ian has been very active as both a PCA and FIATECH member in ISO15926 project collaborations, and is currently managing the JORD (Joint Operational Reference Data) Project. A primary aim of the JORD project is to achieve certifiable ISO15926 compliance for industrial users and software providers. |
