Realizing Open Information Interoperability
The Avalon Project
The Avalon project will establish industry services that supports the open publication and collaborative generation of reference data. This objective follows up the business usage plans for ISO 15926 and iRING technology as established by the Camelot project. The Avalon project will also establish a collaboration space for companies that are using and extending reference data.
To meet these business needs Avalon is organized as three working teams:
1. WIP Service Provision
2. WIP Content Collaboration Wiki
3. iRING Open-Source Code Management
Avalon uses the project infrastructure of the IDS-ADI & Camelot projects. All relevant project documents (other than these Wiki pages) are filed in the following Subversion (SVN) Repository:
